F&B Supervisor Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin (m/f)

To strengthen our enthusiastic and motivated team, we are looking for an F&B Supervisor (m/f).

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

In this position you ensure the smooth running of the daily operational activities.

You guide, coach and train team members and welcome our guests. The team consists of 5 – 10 employees. Your enthusiastic and motivated attitude contributes to an optimal working attitude and atmosphere within the team. You are commercially oriented and you know how to convey your passion for food and drinks to guests and employees. Your position is focused on hospitality in which you are actively involved in the operation on a daily basis and you contribute to an improvement of service and efficiency. The work relates to an a la carte restaurant with accompanying terrace.

HOW DO YOU APPLY YOUR QUALITIES

  • Managing and training service employees who are responsible for optimal service in the restaurant and on the terrace;
  • Adjusting problems, receiving and handling questions, compliments/complaints;
  • Preparing daily reports (service and financial) and taking care of the financial administration;
  • Participate in implementation yourself;
  • Speaking correctly and hospitably to our guests;
  • Participating in personnel policy (recruitment, selection, evaluation and assessment);
  • Actively contribute ideas and propose proposals with regard to improvement/change;
  • Contribute to a ‘feel good factor’ among guests and employees;
  • Role as ‘host(ess)’.

WHAT ARE YOUR WORKING HOURS?

The work is carried out in alternating shifts in day, afternoon and evening shifts. The planning is coordinated with your managerial colleagues. Mutual flexibility makes this a nice interaction.

YOU HAVE OR LARGELY MASTER:

  • You are in possession of professional diplomas as a teacher, social hygiene or wine certificate or are willing to obtain these:
  • You are hospitable, representative and well-mannered;
  • You easily get into conversation with guests and colleagues;
  • You master the Dutch and English language and preferably the German language;
  • You feel at home in a service-oriented environment;
  • You are motivated and not afraid of a challenge;
  • Flexible and stress resistant;
  • Cost-conscious;
  • You have an eye for detail;
  • Working in a hotel gives you energy!
